Join docents Frank Binney and birder Helen George for the first ever docent led hike on SFC’s newest Preserve! Rolling oak woodlands with beautiful wildflower displays and native water foul utilizing the property’s ponds. Enjoy learning the background of this historic property. Hiking for all levels. Bring a lunch!

Cost is $15 to Members, $25 per individual Non-Member, with special family prices. You must be registered for the hike to attend, we cannot accommodate walk-ons without advance notice or permission from SFC. Please ensure your registration information is accurate, we use both email and phone numbers to update participants to any hike changes or cancellations.

Participants are to stay with the group and are not allowed to leave early or wander away from the designated hike. If you need more flexibility, please consider visiting our Preserves during one of our Open Preserve Days. See the Events Calendar for dates.

No Dogs are allowed on our Preserves with the exception of documented Service Animals. Please see our Visiting the Preserves page for more detailed information!

Our Hikes are RAIN or SHINE – Sierra Foothill Conservancy regards the safety of our participants on our Preserves very highly so in the case of severe weather or the possibility of adverse impact on the land or the hike experience we reserve the right to cancel.
