This docent led 3-mile hike over the easy to moderate loop trail along Fine Gold Creek features amazing views, wildflowers, and birds galore! You are sure to see some beauties such as Western Tanagers, Lazuli Buntings, or Black-headed Grosbeaks! Join one of our favorite birders, Susan Estep, for a wonderful experience on this rarely opened Preserve! All levels welcome.

We have a very exciting group buyout option for each of these experiences. Make the event private for your friends and family and host as many people as you like (up to 15). For this option, be sure to register very early to secure the event for your group.
All in-person events will adhere to current CDC health and safety regulations.
No Dogs are allowed on our Preserves with the exception of documented Service Animals. Please see our Visiting the Preserves page for more detailed information!
Our Hikes are RAIN or SHINE β Sierra Foothill Conservancy regards the safety of our participants on our Preserves very highly so in the case of severe weather or the possibility of adverse impact on the land or the hike experience we reserve the right to cancel.
