Welcome to SFC’s Community Engagement Program

Sierra Foothill Conservancy’s Community Engagement Program helps to support our broader mission of Land Conservation by bringing what we do to the people. It is through this program that we reach kids and adults and individuals of all backgrounds. Our goal is to promote conservation through education and to provide quality experiences on and off the land. To ensure that we cultivate a value of the lands we protect and of the work we do,  SFC must educate on the importance of the work that lies ahead and our community’s part in helping SFC fulfill that mission. Through personal and meaningful experiences offered by the Community Engagement Program, people will develop a sense of appreciation for the natural places that remain. Connecting people to the land has always been a top priority of SFC’s mission, and we are working hard to continue to provide this engagement virtually through the platforms in the left side column.
