The Stookey Preserve provides protected habitat – a home for California’s one and only freshwater native Western Pond Turtle.  Join turtle expert, Ninette Daniele, for a guided walk to observe the Preserve’s turtles and learn more about this species that is currently listed as a “species of special concern” in California. This one-hour walking tour starts at 3 PM followed by SFC’s Annual Fundraising cocktail hour as you arrive back at the ranch house. Be sure to wear walking shoes or bring a pair to change into. What a wonderful way to kick off your evening! All registration fees help support SFC’s annual fundraising efforts.

BONUS: Dinner participants will have the opportunity to sponsor a turtle during the “Name the Turtle Event” at SFC’s Annual Fundraising Dinner to help raise funds for SFC and provide continued protection for this special species! Winners will receive special updates from the turtles’ biological monitoring throughout the year. Stay tuned for more information leading up to the event!

Register early as spots are limited.
