Join SFC Naturalist Ben Goger and UC Merced Mycology Grad Student, Chris Bivins, on a historic tour of the fascinating Quick “Ben Hur” Ranch in the rolling foothills between Mariposa and Raymond. This moderate, 2.5-3 mile round-trip hike will have a focus on the mycology (fungi) of the region. Be sure to bring a basket for collecting mushroom samples and a lunch!
Cost is $15 to Members, $25 per individual Non-Member or $20 Member and $30 Non-Member families. You must be registered for the hike to attend, we cannot accommodate walk-ons without advance notice or permission from SFC. Please ensure your registration information is accurate, we use both email and phone numbers to update participants to any hike changes or cancellations.
