An easy exploratory hike – you won’t want to miss this opportunity! Clark’s Valley Conservation Easement is a testament to the effectiveness of appropriate forest management and fuels reduction in light of the current forest conditions that maintain the appropriate habitat necessary to encourage numerous species of birds to call home.

You must be registered for the hike to attend, we cannot accommodate walk-ons without advance notice or permission from SFC. Please ensure your registration information is accurate, we use both email and phone numbers to update participants to any hike changes or cancellations.

Participants are to stay with the group and are not allowed to leave early or wander away from the designated hike. If you need more flexibility, please consider visiting our Preserves during one of our Open Preserve Days. See the Events Calendar for dates. Though the gate will remain locked during the event, we ask that you please not leave anything valuable in your vehicle.

No Dogs are allowed on our Preserves with the exception of documented Service Animals. Please see our Visiting the Preserves page for more detailed information!

Our Hikes are RAIN or SHINE – Sierra Foothill Conservancy regards the safety of our participants on our Preserves very highly so in the case of severe weather or the possibility of adverse impact on the land or the hike experience we reserve the right to cancel.
