McKenzie Preserve Geology and Cultural Walking Tour ($30)

Join Geologist Craig Poole and Archaeologist Sara Lively (Table Mountain Rancheria Cultural Resources Department) for a walking tour of SFC’s McKenzie Table Mountain Preserve. Tour participants will learn about the fascinating inverted topography that makes the geology of this Preserve so unique, and the cultural history of the people and stories that have shaped this land. Participants should bring closed toes shoes for walking, water, a sun hat and sunscreen. Guests will be back in time for the cocktail hour at SFC’s Fundraising Dinner at 4 PM.

BONUS: Dinner participants will have the opportunity to bid on SFC’s Cultural Walk on the McKenzie Tour item in the Live Auction during SFC’s Fundraising Dinner Event on May 3. This special tour for up to six guests, is led by expert guides who will help uncover the region’s past and present as you visit village sites, and other historical places of interest. Tour includes beverages and a picnic lunch.
