Enjoy “The Legacy of the Land” and the spectacular wildflower and native plants of the Stookey Preserve on this guided walk led by local Michael Ross. This one-hour walking tour starts at 3 PM followed by SFC’s Annual Fundraising cocktail hour as you arrive back at the ranch house. Be sure to wear walking shoes or bring a pair to change into. What a wonderful way to kick off your evening! All registration fees help support SFC’s annual fundraiser efforts.

Stookey Preserve Western Pond Turtle Walk (WALKING TOUR)

The Stookey Preserve provides protected habitat – a home for California’s one and only freshwater native Western Pond Turtle.  Join turtle expert, Ninette Daniele, for a guided walk to observe the Preserve’s turtles and learn more about this species that is currently listed as a “species of special concern” in California. This one-hour walking tour starts at 3 PM followed by SFC’s Annual Fundraising cocktail hour as you arrive back at the ranch house. Be sure to wear walking shoes or bring a pair to change into. What a wonderful way to kick off your evening! All registration fees help support SFC’s annual fundraising efforts.

Enjoy the sites of the beautiful Stookey Preserve from your off-road vehicle guided tour. As you zip through meadows lined with wildflowers and towering Valley Oaks, you will hear the spectacular history of SFC’s newest Preserve. Spaces are limited, so be sure to sign up early.
