img_3531Join docent Ben Fluharty for a hike on the Long Ranch Conservation Easement. This property holds a diverse range of flora.

Long Ranch Conservation Easement was the first conservation easement for SFC in Mariposa County. In collaboration with The Trust for Public Land (TPL) the protection of this incredible 2,941 acres, a portion of the Long family ranch in Mariposa, has vast pine and blue oak woodlands which make it one of the largest oak habitats under single ownership in Mariposa County.

We will meet at the corral at the corner of Yaqui Gulch and Old Hwy just outside of the town of Mariposa.

Special Note:  Please be aware that this is a guided hike and participants will not have the ability to enter and exit the property at their leisure. If you do not wish to hike with a docent or you are unable to commit to the time frame scheduled, you may consider visiting our preserves during an Open Preserve Day where there are fewer constraints.

Cost is FREE to Members, $10 per individual Non-Member or $20 for non-member Households.  Join Sierra Foothill Conservancy TODAY and be able to attend as many hikes and classes during our season for free! JOIN HERE
